Experience: 3 Years and above Post Admission Experience
We are a dynamic and growing law firm seeking to recruit a highly motivated and results-oriented Associate Advocate to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and briefs.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Represent clients before courts, tribunals, and other dispute resolution forums.
- Manage litigation matters from inception to conclusion.
- Attend client meetings and provide legal advice under the supervision of partners and senior associates.
- Assist in corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and due diligence exercises.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Handle conveyancing, Projects and real estate transactions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Advocate of the High Court in good standing.
- Minimum of three (3) years post-admission experience in a reputable law firm.
- Demonstrated experience in litigation, commercial law, corporate advisory, or related practice areas.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office applications.
